Randall Huft (ACTOR) is pleased to be working with this wonderful group of artists. He can be seen frequently on stages throughout Southern California. Credits include: Co-directing and acting in Our Town at LNCT, directing Miracle on 34th Street at the Camino Real Playhouse, acting in Dial M for Murder, and winning two CaminOvations for his performance as Felix in The Odd Couple. Randall has also appeared at the Welk Resort in The Odd Couple, and at the Broadway Theater in: The Nerd, A Nice Family Gathering, Bullshot Crummond, and the 2-man show Rounding Third. Performances in Chicago and Minneapolis include: Prisoner of 2nd Avenue, Cyrano de Bergerac, A Thousand Clowns, The Lion in Winter, Once Upon a Mattress, and Othello directed by Jeff Perry (Steppenwolf Theater Company). He has also directed, performed, and/or composed the score for dozens of television and radio commercials.
Devi Noel (ACTRESS) is pleased to be working with such a talented Playwright, Director, and Cast in the premiere of The Quote! Favorite roles on local stages include Christine in the original cast of Hope (Talent to aMuse), Two Addicts in the World premiere of 12 (San Diego Fringe Festival), Jennie Malone in Chapter Two, Mitzi in Stage Fright, and Lexie in Dixie Swim Club (Lamplighter’s Theatre), Irene Adler in Sherlock Holmes’ Final Adventure (Coronado Playhouse), and Pamela Peabody in Fox on the Fairway (OnStage Playhouse). She performs as an auxiliary member of choral group Sacra Profana, having appeared in the US Premiere of Disney Theatrical’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the La Jolla Playhouse, and with the San Diego Symphony. Devi grew up in San Diego, has an extensive background in ballet and musical theater, and holds a BA in Theatre from SDSU.
Michael Shantz (WRITER/ ACTOR) is thrilled to be involved with his third Fringe production. He previously directed Date with Death: Hollywood Confidential in 2015 and co- wrote and starred in We the People in 2017. He’s so excited to share the stage with this talented group of actors and their director Kristen Fogle.
Ray-Anna Ranae (ACTRESS) This is Ray-Anna Ranae’s fifth appearance at The San Diego International Fringe Festival and her third time performing with The Poolhouse Project. Those credits include: My Theatre Nightmare, Belief No Repeat, Feces on the Face, and We the People. She is very excited to be a part of the cast and crew of The Post and is so proud of her dear friend Michael Shantz for writing such a riveting piece. Thank you to Kristen Fogle for continuing to think of me and bringing me on to all of these wonderful projects. Cheers to telling another great story!
Whitney Wegman (ACTRESS/ WEBMASTER) is a local San Diego performer. Wegman began acting in grade school and church plays around the age of eight. She attended Washington High School, Avila University and the University of Virginia where she continued to pursue theater. After completing her MFA Wegman relocated to California to work in film, television, commercials, and stage. Previous Fringe productions include Big Kitchen and We The People.
John Tessmer (ACTOR) is the La Jolla Theatre Ensemble's Producing Artistic Director. He has worked regionally with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Idaho Rep, Laguna Playhouse, Monomoy Theatre and Western Stage, and locally with Intrepid, Mo'olelo, New Fortune, North Coast Rep, NVA, SRT, and more. He is a graduate of Yale (B.A.) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (M.F.A.). This is John's third Fringe appearance. Thank You to Mike, Kristen and All the Cast!
